WELCOME TO THE 2011/2012 SCHOOL YEAR

We are proud of our neighborhood school. Shettler has about 400 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. We are fortunate to have a strong parent group (PTC) to support our staff and students. This year we are focusing on 3 key words with our behaviors - Respect, Responsibility and Safety. These behaviors are recognized and rewarded with star rewards.  Shettler School is busy working to achieve their annual School Improvement Goals. Our reading goal is to increase the number of benchmarked students by 10% from Fall to Spring. In math our goal is to have 80% of our students be proficient on their math common assessments. As a staff we look at our data in these area on a regular basis. The data tells us if we need to adjust our instruction and programming or if we are on the right path to reaching our goals.
