About MeI grew up in Cutlerville, Michigan and attended South Christian High School. I ran Cross Country, played basketball and ran track. I went on to Hope College in Holland, Michigan and ran both Cross-Country and track all 4 years. I graduated from Hope college with a double major in Physical education and Special education. I have been teaching a Fruitport Middle school for 20 years. I began as a special education teacher and then moved into the area of physical education. I am also the High school Cross-Country and Girls High school track coach. Hobbiesas you can tell I have a passion for running. It began as something I was good at. With hard work, it became something I was known for. Now I view it as a challenge between my body and my mind. Getting the body to perform like the mind remembers is the ultimate challenge. I also enjoy getting kids to do the same as their Cross Country and Track coach. |
